The Apical Elevator is a lever specially designed to be used in the extraction or mobilization of teeth, roots and fragments.

The use of elevators consists of complements to forceps or as the main instrument in surgical extractions, they present a varying curvature in the middle area or at the beginning of the tip. Its function is to reach areas that are difficult to access, although its main disadvantage is that the direction of the force is more difficult to control compared to other elevators.
